Choose the Right Outdoor Fire Feature
An outdoor fire feature can provide warmth, light, and a natural focal point for entertaining. The best choice depends on how you plan to use it, the available space, and the fuel you prefer.
We’ll help you compare:
Gas, propane, and wood-burning options.
Fire pits, fire tables, bowls, and outdoor stoves.
Heat output and burner size.
Manual and electronic ignition systems.
Concrete, steel, aluminum, and other materials.
Wind conditions and the layout of your outdoor space.
Fuel-line, propane-tank, electrical, and installation requirements.
Some projects require existing fire-pit removal or an inspection of the gas line before a burner size can be selected. We’ll explain what needs to be confirmed before ordering.
Gas Fire Pits & Fire Tables
Gas fire features offer convenient operation without handling firewood or cleaning up ash. Depending on the model, they may use natural gas or propane and may include manual or electronic ignition.
Gas-line capacity, pipe type, burner size, controls, and electrical availability all affect the installation. If you’re replacing an existing fire pit, we may need to remove it or access the connection before confirming the available BTUs.
Brands We Carry
DreamCast
DreamCast fire pits are handcrafted in Canada from glass-fiber-reinforced concrete. They are available in a range of colors, shapes, and configurations, including round, linear, and sculptural designs.
Paloform
Paloform offers modern fire vessels made from materials such as architectural concrete, Corten steel, powder-coated aluminum, and stainless steel. Their designs include gas and propane options, with selected wood-burning models.
Urbana
Urbana produces premium outdoor gas fire features, including stainless-steel and precast-concrete designs. The collection includes models such as the Halo, with a focus on clean styling and durable outdoor construction.
American Fyre Designs
American Fyre Designs makes outdoor fire pits, tables, bowls, and other features from glass-fiber-reinforced concrete. Their products offer a range of styles and flame configurations for outdoor living spaces.
Outdoor Wood Stoves from RB73
For customers who prefer wood, we offer outdoor wood stoves from RB73, handcrafted in the Netherlands.
RB73 stoves are made from CorTen steel, which develops a weathered patina over time. Their enclosed designs provide a more controlled outdoor wood fire with glass doors for viewing the flames.
The Quaruba series is designed for patios and terraces where customers want the experience of a wood fire with a contained firebox. Proper placement, chimney routing, clearances, and local requirements still need to be evaluated for each installation.
Plan Your Outdoor Fire-Pit Installation
Before selecting a fire feature, we’ll discuss the conditions that affect your project:
Existing gas-line size, type, and available capacity.
Natural gas or propane fuel.
Manual or electronic ignition.
Electrical power beneath or near the fire feature.
Required clearances from structures and combustible materials.
Drainage and the finished surface beneath the unit.
Wind exposure and flame performance.
Access for delivery, installation, and future service.
For a replacement project, send photos of the existing fire pit and surrounding area. We may need to inspect the current connection before recommending a larger burner or different ignition system.
Outdoor Kitchens & Entertaining Spaces
An outdoor fire feature can be designed as part of a larger outdoor living project. We can help coordinate the fire pit with grills, outdoor kitchens, storage, countertops, and other cooking equipment.
