Thompson’s Hearth & Home helps North Bend homeowners select and install gas fireplaces, gas inserts, wood stoves, wood inserts, and built-in wood fireplaces.

Visit our family-owned showroom in Issaquah to see more than 50 fireplace and stove models on display, including over 40 burning. You can compare the flames, heat, finishes, and features in person before choosing the right fireplace for your home.

Fireplace Options for North Bend Homes

Whether you’re updating an existing masonry fireplace, replacing an older factory-built fireplace, remodeling, or adding a new fireplace, we’ll help you understand which options are appropriate for your home.

Gas inserts convert suitable wood-burning fireplaces to convenient gas heat.

Built-in gas fireplaces work well for remodels, new construction, and replacement projects.

Wood inserts improve the heating performance of suitable masonry fireplaces while preserving the experience of a real wood fire.

Freestanding wood and gas stoves provide efficient heat in a wide range of traditional and contemporary styles.

Every project is different. Available space, venting, gas and electrical requirements, hearth protection, clearances, and surrounding materials can all affect which products will work.

Local Experience and Personal Service

Thompson’s Hearth & Home has been owned and operated by Guy and Nicole Thompson since 2004, with Guy’s experience in the hearth industry dating back to 1989. Guy and Nicole also live in North Bend, so the Snoqualmie Valley is not simply part of our service area—it is our home.

Our Issaquah showroom has more than 50 fireplace and stove models on display, including over 40 burning. Seeing fireplaces operate in person makes it easier to compare flame appearance, heat, finishes, controls, and overall quality.

We personally select the products we carry based on their performance, reliability, appearance, and the support available from the manufacturer. Installation is performed by our own in-house team, and we provide warranty assistance and gas-appliance service for customers whose units we installed.

As a small family business, we keep our service area close to the showroom so we can provide personal attention before, during, and after the installation.

Starting Your North Bend Fireplace Project

If you’re replacing an existing fireplace, start with a few clear photos and basic measurements of the fireplace opening. Our simplified fireplace measuring guide will show you exactly what we need without requiring complicated measurements.

Bring the information to our Issaquah showroom or send it to us before your visit. We’ll review your fireplace, discuss the available options, and help you compare suitable models in person.

Once you’ve selected a fireplace, we’ll confirm the installation details, including venting, gas or electrical requirements, clearances, hearth protection, permits, and whether a custom surround or shroud is needed. You’ll receive a clear estimate before moving forward.
